Would it be appropriate to think of this as a Unit Game that happens to be
co-located with our Sectional tournament?  That could help clearly draw
lines in terms of organizing, running, directing, and reporting the scores,
if we are willing to provide a unit sanction for the game.

Doing it this way would not award silver points, but it would provide
players with the experience of playing in a venue with larger groups of
players at different levels of experience.  Youth players who wanted to
play in the sectional tournament could, of course, choose to play in the
sectional's already-scheduled events.

I agree with Eric's point about more direct involvement from SNGB to help
put this on (perhaps ask SNGB board members to be table monitors), and with
Patti's point about reaching out to high-school-age players (how to get the
word out?).
