[SBU Board] 2019 Sun Tan Sectional Update

Comments on the possibilities listed:

A) I don't think this is worth considering. So many strikes against it.
It is REALLY soon after our KO sectional. There is a regional at that
time in our district. It follows immediately after Penticton which a LOT
of Seattle people go to.
B) This seems like a good date, with the main strike being that it is so
soon after the KO sectional. This conflicts with a few sporting things
that might draw away a couple players (Kim and maybe Jeff would be at
hoopfest, I might be at a tennis tournament) but when I put on my board
member hat this seems like a good time.
C) Will lose some people who are out of town, but seems good otherwise.
D) Ugh. Right after Vegas? I second Matt's opinion that the attendance
would be poor. Vegas is an easy flight from Seattle and is typically the
most highly attended NABC location of them all.

One question: why do we have to give up on July 12-14? That's typically
been our weekend and we've already lined up right of first refusal in
Kent. Can we approach them and say we already have a location locked in
and that's been our typical weekend for years? It seems like having a
history of going that weekend in past years would give us some sort of
scheduling rights to that weekend next year. If their site isn't
available that's one thing, but if they are just trying to poach our
weekend I'm not sure we should have to just give it up.
