I know there are some negative reactions to Bahar, but I've found him 
incredibly responsive and communicative and aggressive about pursing the 
solution to a problem when it is presented to him.

Case in point: I've complained about the Silver Ribbon with no option 
for non seniors for years now to multiple people and heard nothing. In 
the 3-4 times I've reached out to Marv with questions he "forwarded my 
email to the ACBL" 1 time and didn't bother to even respond every other 
time.

In comparison, Bahar responded quickly to my email about the Silver 
Ribbon creating a hole in the schedule for non senior players and 
updated me multiple times as he pursued a solution. A few weeks later 
and it appears to (possibly) be on its way to getting solved. So even 
though I think the "Redistribute Tournament Activity" is a godawful idea 
and there are some issues with many of the other big ideas, its exciting 
to see someone that is actually trying.

Fwd'ing to people who might interact with Bahar and/or people who might 
be impacted by this change (aka might go to the Spring NABC and not 
qual'd for silver).

Thought you'd like to know that we are submitting a motion on this.  I hope it will correct the issue you pointed out--and maybe in time to improve your experience in Philadelphia!
