[SBU Board] 2018 U446 Tournament Planning Calendar

Our board's Tournament Sites Committee employs a planning calendar to account for constraints and document candidate dates for our sectionals, thus supporting discussion and coordination in development of a proposed line-up of tournament dates & sites.  The full board reviews, adjusts and approves the tournament line-up.  Attached to this email is a first cut 2018 tournament planning calendar.  It will evolve to reflect various inputs and emergent event planning & sanctions of other units in our general proximity, the US Bridge Federation and D19 GNT/NAP Finals coordination.

Your comments and suggestions on the planning calendar are always welcome and appreciated.  In particular, as David is involved with both D19 and D20 events and logistics, his view is quite helpful.

I will be sending this calendar to Matt in the coming days to get his inputs & comments on the constraints and candidate dates.

Beginning this process sooner rather than later offers us more choices in scheduling our sectionals.  I plan to call a working meeting of our Tournament Sites Committee after receiving Matt's inputs on the planning calendar.
