does anyone sell good quality servers anymore?

I don't have a Dell account manager (we've got one for HP, and she
sucks). Anyway, my approach is similar to yours, I go to the website,
configure what I want, and then let my purchasing dept fight it out
with HP's sales people for a good price. Sadly, Dell's website
doesn't give me the flexibility that HP's does, such that we're going
to end up buying much more than we want or need just to maintain the
same minimum specs.
