On a similar note, there are plenty of distributon specific mailing 
lists/forums and Googling will usually provide an answer if you have a 
distribution specific problem. But I value this list, as it is, because many, 
if not most, of my problems do not relate to my specific distribution and this 
list provides a small but very knowledgeable group of experts whom I can poll. 
Also, the lack of volume of this list is a blessing. I usually learn something 
from every thread, without being drowned by a deluge of postings.

Just my two cents worth.
