I'm currently working with PowerShell also as I need to take some bash 
scripts and make Windows equivalents. Wish I could get excited about it 
but I just can't. If you come across any good PS resources please let me 
know.

I have Windows 7 running on a couple of machines. Works well enough. 
About as stable as XP and a zillion times better than Vista (not saying 
much). Unfortunately it is still Windows and it's made by MS - no 
solution exists for these terminal deficiencies.
