You have a very interesting definition of 'slouch machine'.  That HW
was old & slow 3 years ago.   AGP cards haven't been sold as 'new' in
nearly 5 years.  AMD stopped selling AthlonXP's something like 6 years
ago.

But yes, KDE is a pig.
