It's a bit funny how our idea of "good" hardware changes over time.

I also find it interesting that Slackware uses KDE 4.2 instead of 3.5 when their
user base tends to use older hardware.  Maybe their niche is changing.
I used slack for a few years -Kurt made me;) , Maybe I'll try it again soon.
