Thanks, Ken. You brought up another point that bothers me. It is
almost impossible today to find a mobo with 2 IDE channels. That makes
my inventory of IDE drives almost worthless.
Anyhow, let me rephrase my original question a bit: should I be
looking more at the board rather than its chip set, i.e. are there no
significant funtionality/stability issues ?
