Suse 10.1 freezed

My Suse 10.1 stops working. It boots into the blue GUI screen and hangs
right there. The login dialog never shows up.
Rebooting into safe-mode does not help either.

My plan is to have Suse 10.2 to update it but I don't have those CD/DVDs
here.

Any idea how I can fix this problem ?
