Every where from Redding north!!! My trumpet teacher's widow sold the house
in Orange CA they bought brand new in 1954 or so for $30,000.00 for $650,000.00.
Her boys moved her to Eugene, Or to be closer. The prime location is
around Ashland-Medford-Grants Pass then it starts to cool down a little
as you get farther away from the medical facilities. The hospital in
Medford is really pretty up to date. Just short of being able to do
transplants. Gobs of god docs in Medford, too. The timber industry is
shot. Most of the trees are GONE. Farm land is worh more to the cities
to rezone for residential and commercial so the farmers are selling out
and retiring on buckets full of $$$.
