Old questiond; I found out where the logs were in my SuSE 10.1 distro
were/are.  The display problem I solved by accident when I right
buttoned on a web page window where it listed transparency.

Old to new; can I get the NVidia driver for my card from an IUbuntu
install disk for my Debian 3.1 r2 i386 Sarge?  If so Where might it be?
The Ubuntu driver works better than the Debian one.
