Well, I don't even pay attention to the gmail spam folder other than
to note they keep spam for 30 days then dump the old stuff.  That
folder hovers between 1300-1500 spams.  Not bad for 30 days.

Now my personal pananix.com address, gets connected to on the average
once every minute 24x7 (approx 9,000 times per day).  If I actually
received that many emails, I wouldn't even look at them, e-mail would
be useless.  Fortunately, between the myriad spam software and
blacklists, I get a little over 100 e-mails per day, and very few
spams.  No idea how many false positives, but those folks need to
learn netiquette anyway.
