xine is ghosted in all the gui install wrappers for apt. Not sure why.

Yes, I do believe that I should. I followed the links that Matthew
posted, but I did not get the packages I expected from apt-get.

Leon gave me a link that seems to have all the win32 codecs

Yup, that is what I needed. The next question is why apt-get didn't work.
You would think that if Novell was going to sell out, they aught to at
least sell out so that they can set all this stuff up from the getgo.
Imagine being able to play videos and DVDs straight from the install...
