download the JDK frmo java.sun.com, extract it wherever, set JAVA_HOME to
wherever you extracted it, set PATH=$PATH:$JAVA_HOME/bin

i'd imagine that they ship with mplayer or are an add-on package for
mplayer.

i think dpkg is what you need.
