There is a difference, not too much though, between diabetic
ketoacidosis and Atkins ketoacidosis.  Has to do with insulin levels, I
think. I know when a type I goes into ketoacidosis they are usually
running a bG of 250+.  Things really go to hell quickly in diabetic
ketoacidosis.
