But homeplug is not a wireless technology right? The adaptor is to 
listen to the wire, not the radiation out of the wire, right?

Your blonde and guy thing was about frequencies and amplitude. I still 
remember a bit of wave theories... hopefully,. It's been over a decade 
since I read my A-Level Physics.
