I've had SBC Yahoo ADSL here at my in-town office for 5 months now and 
if it has hiccuped once I couldn't tell it. It gives me a very reliable 
3000/416 connection.

I've also help lots of clients install DSL from Alltel, SBC, and 
CenturyTel and I have to say it generally "just works".

The only thing I would change is to do away with the PPPoE stuff that 
requires a username/password and just make it plug in and surf more like 
cable.
