The monsoon has failed somewhat for a few years now, the annual rainfall
which is normally just enough has alao failed. What we call winter is
just about over and we are looking at spring which is also dry and high
fire risk weather. Heavy rain does not normally fall til at least
January onwards, but we have not had any at all for some years, the
summer storms have just not appeared.
Just to make it clearer there was a report on an urban fire where the
water aviable was insufficient so they were unable to control the fire.
We are expecting this trend to get worse.

We are the driest place on earth as we understand it, and our reserves
of potable water are at the lowest in historical memory: cause to many
people and far too much developement for the avaiable resources.
