Wow. This sounds like a looming emergency of largest proportions.

You're correct that there has been no mention of this at least here in the 
states. (Tho I don't watch tv.) Do you have any news links where we could read 
more of this?

We're in a considerable drought here also. But such is somewhat normal as this 
is late summer (dry is normal). Am I correct in assuming that this should be 
your *wet* season (late winter) with the dry months yet to come?

I hope that we and the many other countries are ready to offer whatever 
assistance is appropriate.

But the best thing I can do is pray a sincere prayer for your land and people.
