Joining an NT Domain

Unfortunately, you're trying alot more than i was.  I just wanted to mount
a few SMB shares, not join the domain.  The best I could get was to mount
them manually with 'mount -t cifs ....'.  I still can't get it to work
automagically in fstab at bootup.  Thankfully i don't reboot very often (3
times in the past 4.5 months), so its not sufficiently annoying for me to
expend more time on it.
