MIME type handling in firefox/thunderbird

I poked through the mess of menus in gconf-editor but didn't find anything
relevant for firefox or thunderbird that would control this sort of thing.
I did find the mailto item you mentioned, but sadly, that's not a problem
for me that needs to be fixed.
