Well... I finally had some serious sit down time this morning and I've got my
"choppy sound" problem ironed out.
The short story is.... I removed ARTS-3.2.0 and put ARTS-1.1.5 in it's place.
I now have smooth audio playback across 802.11b connections, even when
compiling sources with gkrellm showing 100% processor usage.
As a side note, after browsing the inet and usenet, it would seem that there's
a hord of us KDE-3.2.0 users having choppy sound issues. I would suspect a
fix to turn up shortly... :')
