gentoo emerge and blocks

Okay, I'm confused. I have the following emerge situations :

bash-2.05b# emerge --pretend --update qt

These are the packages that I would merge, in order:

So kdelibs blocks qt, but it wants to update qt? What am I supposed to
do? I'm confused...
