Joel
I have a SMC2531W-B, I have had it for 3 days now. Buy it, plug it in, using
gentoo 2.4.20 r8 kernel. Use the prism2_cd driver with the kernell. Reboot and
enjoy. Paid $69 + tax at CompUSA. D-Link's DWL-650 could not make it work. I do
have a D-Linkd wireless/wired router with SSID set to mynetwork name and no wep
set. I left all options of essid & etc at "" inconf file. Thast was it for this
card on my laptop.
cheers
