I read in the last two weeks that M$ got a restraining order against lindows
in scandinavia (Sweden IIRC). Lindows claimed that they didn't know it was
before a judge. So, I guess lindows can't use the name any more in Sweden (or
the EU?) until the lawsuit is settled. (The article did not say what the
jurisdiction covered. It was on /.)
