I believe my statement was more like the RHCE is fine, but real
credibility comes with experience, but, *I* digress.

I'd hate to see the list die, but I've been around this list and its
predecessors long enought that activity comes and goes. More to the
point, with a pardon to Mark Twain, reports of this list's death are
greatly exaggerated. IMHO, it isn't broken, so it needn't be fixed.
I'm opposed, at first blush to any "marketing" - word of mouth and
satisfied members are the best "marketing."
