Thanks, and aaaghh!  I've had nothing with failures on the latest
versions of cups.  Since cups began screwing around with ghostscript,
not even a simple laserjet4 will work for me.  I haven't tried in a few
months, so maybe they have fixed something.

I'm working with a pre-installed Win98 (dual boot) system, so I don't
need to install anything, just run it.

Yes I would love to see your wine config and any other tips you have.
