maxtor drive issue

DId dep reveal the motherboard deployed? Indeed, it's more likely a 
motherboard and BIOS issue....

I installed COL Workstation 3.1 onto my Asus CUBX (i440BX chipset) + 
Maxtor DX740 60G without problem.
