XFCE: need tutoring

Trying to broaden my horizons a bit so I'm playing around with XFCE. 
This is on a fairly new install of FC3.

XFCE looks good and runs good, but I have one perplexing question:

How do I get to my stuff?

My Gnome/Kde menus on this box have probably over a hundred items on 
them. The Xfce launcher bar has maybe a half dozen. And I can find no 
others.

Did Fedora just not care enough about XFCE to populate the menus? Is 
there some way to import them and where would they go? Does it conform 
to the desktop.org standards for the menu metafiles and such?
