OT: need GZ value for xterm - using GNOME Terminal that comes with UBUNTU

running Gnome Terminal that comes with Ubuntu
need some good values for GZ (end of line character)
the best i have found so far is GZ=\267:  which produces a . for the end 
of line character.
i would like to have a graphics block
any suggestions appreciated
