OT: Freaky Maths Year

In the relative spacial/temporal region of
Tue, Feb 01, 2011 at 10:25:57AM -0500, Kenneth Brody achieved the spontaneous
generation of the following:

The Mayans were advanced enough that I don't believe they thought that
themselves for a second, unless someone can point me at direct evidence
that indicates they did.

Sounds more like someone hijacked their data and used it to their own
purposes, rather like pagan holiday times were hijacked for Christian ones
to make it easier to convert people.  "Oh, hey, look...their calendar runs
out here...perfect time to say Revelation will go down, and get people into
line!"
