Frank McKinney propounded (on Wed, May 04, 2005 at 11:34:36AM -0400):
| Using fP 5.0
| SCO 5.0.5
| Printwiz from Raumussen Software
|
| Printwiz supplies a printcode table for filePro (printwiz.prt)
|
| In Define Output, when one uses F5 to call up the list of print
| codes, many codes have a '*' prefix and a '?' suffix. The
| printcode table in Pinter Maintenance also contains the asterisk
| and a reverse character at the end.
| For example:
| Line 10 of printcode table in printer maintenance shows:
| Sequence Description
| 10 | ^Z</B> | * Emphasized On'rb'
| 'rb' stands for a reverse blank (a one character bright bar)
|
| In the Print Code popup in Define Output, Option 10 shows:
| 10 *Emphasized On?
|
| I queried Rasmussen about the significance of the question mark
| and the asterisk. He said that they are not part of his printcode
| table and are being supplied by filePro, and suggested that I
| inquire of this list.
I see no such thing here. Edit the table with vi and get rid of whatever
it is.
