[Capr-announce] Rural Roundtable Meeting reminder

All,

Just a reminder that the King County Council will be in Maple Valley this
Monday, July 23rd for what is being billed as a Roundtable Meeting.  The
main part of the program runs from 10:00 am to 12:00 with the council
scheduled to take testimony on all topics towards the end of the session.

There is a credible rumor afloat that the council is seriously considering
adding house size restrictions to the Comprehensive Plan update, due in
September, on ALL rural properties, not just agricultural.  This would be a
more significant financial hit to those with developable than were the CAO
and Clearing and Grading Ordinance takings!

Please plan to attend if at all possible.  Even if you are not prepared to
speak, your attendance will still be valuable.  Let's pack the hall.
