[SBU Board] Fwd: New Virtual Club

Now that other folks have weighed in, here's my thoughts (with my
web/publicity hat on):
I want us to promote any club our members can reasonably join or play in,
during this time. My only concern is making sure the information is
accurate and up-to-date. Whereas we have a good and regular communication
channel with our unit's clubs, we don't have that so much with clubs
outside our unit. (Even with our own clubs, we run into issues where they
change times or dates and don't let us know -- moreso with the smaller
clubs than EBC & SBC)
With SBC & EBC, they have their own websites that I can reference or point
members to. For smaller clubs, like Mercer Island, there's nowhere other
than the club manager that I can point people to so they can get up-to-date
information.
As much as I firmly state on the website that times may be out of date and
to confirm with club managers, I know realistically, people don't always
take that extra step.
Thus, my preference would be that for clubs outside our unit, we post that
members can also join Tacoma and/or Everett club games and to please
contact their club managers for times and details. We don't post specific
times/sessions, so that we don't become an out-of-date resource as
times/dates change.
