It’s fine with me to hold no Unit Board meeting in November.

One other loose end: I gather we decided NOT to accept David Taylor’s proposal for an agreement under which he would provide all the equipment and logistics for each of our tournaments, and to sell to him all of what we now own and use for that purpose.  I think that is clearly the right decision.  The loose end (unless someone has already done it) is to provide him a clear response to that effect, but with our thanks and our wishes for the best of luck.

I have notified Scott, Tom and Karen that they have been offered positions on the board; Karen and Tom have expressed mixed delight.
I have also told Renae that she has not been selected (for now).
I have also applied for a sanction for the NLM Spring tourney.
AND Kent is sending me a contract for the August tournament this week.

Also, we did not have time to discuss a November meeting.  Traditionally we do not usually have a meeting in November, and personally, I think we have committees doing work that should put us in a good place come January.
We have a group setting up our holiday party and working up unit competitions for the late winter/early spring.
SO, what say you:  should we have a November meeting?  Let me know your thoughts.
