And one more email to mull over.  From David Taylor, regarding our trailer.  David would like us to consider getting rid of/selling the trailer.  This is probably a good idea, BUT I personally don't want to be involved in the b&f.  Do we have an equipment master?  DT has been it in the past...In any case, would one/two of you agree to step up and own this topic and talk it through with David T?
Thanks for your patience and consideration of this request! And Happy 4th!  See most of you this weekend.
Ann

Hi Ann,
You've got a lot on your plate and I don't want to add to that.  But I want to make sure that the unit trailer is one someone's radar.  Please file this for future, or forward to someone else to deal with.
The storage solution for my truck will be an RV storage-type place, with attached or nearby storage.  Storing the trailer as well will cost extra, likely on the order of $100 to $200 per month.  I'll have more info on pricing at a later date.
Whatever the cost, it hardly seems worth it for the unit to continue to maintain the trailer, which is already pretty decrepit.
I won't make any big sales pitches, but I can offer a couple of things:
   - My services and supplies as provided to regionals and sectionals, covering everything needed for the tournament: Tables, bidding boxes, table markers, director supplies, conv cards, pencils, etc.  For sectionals, I waive the setup fee on the assumption that we have volunteers to help with setup and tear-down.  I charge my regular per-table-played use fee escalating at a cost-of-living rate.  It's currently $3.42.  I would also charge mileage at the current GSA mileage rate (4x distance from Seattle).  This year's fees for Everett plus GNTs (~200 tables) were $720.
   - We would have occasional conflicts, e.g. OTR regional starting the day after our Sweetheart sectional.  This could be a problem that we'd have to figure out.  (I've driven most of the night in the past and will do it again.)
   - I would offer a nominal amount to purchase the used unit supplies.  Honestly, I've been tossing the laminated bidding cards from my bidding boxes (and replacing them with plastic), and most of the unit tables are in bad shape.  We'd have to discuss.
   - I would offer to store and transport the unit supplies (kitchen stuff, partnership stuff, etc) for a nominal amount, TBD based on quantity.
   - I think that covers it.
Let's discuss further in August time-frame.
Thanks,David
