Sorry this is later than planned.

See attached for my end-of-tournament supplies list.  The second sheet ("Current") has an estimate of everything we own, plus my estimate of new value and current value.

Please note that I put this together very quickly, without the chance to visit the trailer to get an accurate count.  Still, I think the numbers are reasonably close.  Someone else might choose more conservative values on replacement costs.

In some cases, the replacement cost is the interesting number (cards / boards); in others, the current value (trailer).

We haven't used the chairs since I first joined the board 6 years ago.  We might want to find a new home for them.

Well, I still had the opportunity experience set-up (at ridiculous-o'clock in the morning, no less), so I haven't had much opportunity to miss being on the board yet!

I'm heading down to Oregon Trails this week and will be very busy.  I have a note on my calendar to put something together for you the week after that.

At our initial meetings in 2018 some of the Board members have raised a question as to the appropriateness of the financial reserve we currently maintain.
It would greatly help us in discussing this to have some idea of the replacement costs for our trailer and for our other major items of tangible property.
You are the person who has the best handle on what that property is, and on replacement costs.
Also, you have traditionally been the first person to whom we turn when we need to replace items of our property, or to add new assets.

So – despite your long service and your recent retirement from the board - could I ask you to give us an estimate of these replacement costs?

We do not need to consider every item – only the major ones.
This would certainly include the trailer itself; our card tables; our boards and cards; and probably some other big items I have not considered.
And we do not require precision as to replacement costs – only your best estimates (we will not hold you to these estimates when it comes time to replace something.)
