Yep, and just to clarify, my intent is that there's discussion at the board
meeting and edits to the flyer for Friday accordingly. But I need
everything else to be pretty locked down and overall content of the flyer
to be locked down. Changing a session time on the flyer is not hard.
Removing a session is not hard. Adding extra content (e.g., explanations,
parking/smoking warnings, lunch changes) is harder because I often have to
re-size and re-do the layout to make it work.
Because I'll be out of town and with only occasional internet access Oct
5-16, I want to get this to an "easy edit" state as opposed to having
harder edits, so that either someone else on the board can take on edits
and submission to ACBL while I'm gone or that I can manage it when I have
access without too much trouble.
That was the goal of the 9/30 deadline, which I recognize wasn't entirely
clear in my mail. So, things that I'm expecting as late changes are the
start times and whether there is or isn't a third session. By 9/30, I'd
like to ensure that we are in agreement on all other parts of the flyer,
such as content of each session, stratifications, things to highlight/note
(lunch, remodeled site), etc.
Hope that helps. I was *not* trying to preclude discussion at the next
board meeting; I took that as a given. I just want everything else as
finalized as we can make it as well as having a good draft that helps us
get feedback toward that discussion in-meeting.
Thanks,
JC
