[SBU Board] Fall Open Sectional Sanction

Hi David,

Quite some time ago our U446 board decided to move the fall open sectional from Sept 15-17 at Kent to Oct 27-29.  We delayed revising the sanction because we have yet to see renovated Vasa, after which we had planned to take the decision on site (Vasa or Bothell).

In the mean time, D19 has been thrashing on the possibility of adding a fifth 2017 regional to be held at Whistler in the fall.  A proposal to hold a regional at Whistler Nov 6-12, 2017 was voted down.  Alternative dates, prior to and/or following Nov 6-12 are under consideration.  I have alerted the D19 board that Seattle U446 has taken the decision to move its sectional to Oct 27-29 (though the sanction has not yet been revised) and we would be opposed to the Oct 30 - Nov 5 for Whistler.

Please take a look at the idea of revising (now) the sanction for our fall open sectional to the Oct 27-29 dates.  Either Vasa or Bothell could be indicated (for now) as the site, if we are aren't able to conduct the Vasa survey and resolve the site decision in the next few days.  What's currently reflected on the ACBL website is Sept 15-17 at Kent, so revising to Oct 27-19 would at least take the important step of correcting the dates.  It would also get our plan for Oct on the books.
