[SBU Board] My attitude about lunches is mixed

I agree.  It is such a hassle.  Let the players either bring their lunch or find a restaurant.  We just need to make sure we have current maps indicating restaurants in the vicinity.

we might reconsider, but I suggest we forget about providing lunch.

>Personally, I'd rather
not do them--it adds time, expense and a lot of planning to the process of a
sectional.  BUT, they can be done.  We can always get trays of
sandwiches from Costco and pull together a salad.  Or sandwiches from
Subway (but  folks complain about these over time).

in the past.  It's expensive, but doable. Caterers will want access to
water, at least, to clean up.  Bothell is not good for catering.  Vasa
works well.

near restaurants, we may want to provide this type of option.  BUT...again,
without refrigeration, or a kitchen, hard to prepare salads, hard to clean up,
hard to store things.

>SO.  Short term,
I'd rather not do lunches.  If we train our folk to bring their own lunch
(have a picnic with your team...!),  or give them enough time for a fast
food option, great.
