[SBU Board] Vasa Hospitality

yeah, well, I have one person lined up (who is terrific--Dee Patrick).
Patti's daughter is not going to work out for Vasa.

This is how I envision Sunday's lunch

   - David Taylor will pick up the sandwiches from Costco (they will be
ready by noon). Lunch is usually started around 1:15 and done by 2:30ish.
This will depend on Mackenzie and what he wants to do.

   - Dee Patrick will come noonish to help serve lunch.

   - IF we all can help in the break before lunch (usually after the 3rd
round), to set up the serving tables in the room, lay out plates, forks and
such, put out the bottled water, etc. that would be great.

   - I think that Dee and David can get the sandwiches to the tables. If
David can help til the start of the lunch, then 1/2 hour before they can
bring out the salads. I will have bowls of salad with serving tongs or
slotted spoons (for the three bean). If Dee and David can keep an eye on
folk to make sure they don't exceed a normal serving.... I'll relieve Dave
as soon as I am done with my game.

   - Barbara Nist and Jennifer Ballantine have said they can help serve (as
needed, and when they're done), but I'd love it if a board member or two
   can also help.

   - I will also need some hands with the fast cleanup (bagging garbage,
shlepping to the kitchen) and such.

And finally, *anyone wanna volunteer to pick up 10 bags of ice for Friday?
*We need them at least an hour before the event, so if you're coming to
help set up, and can stop and pick up 10 bags of ice (to be used in the
water, pop coolers and such), let me know.
