[SBU Board] Unit Equipment Replacement

I am interested in this. One thing I think absolutely needs to be done is a cleaning of the bid boxes themselves, they are gross in my opinion. It would be great if several of us could take a container of them home after this tournament and run the boxes thru the dishwasher. We could also inspect the bidding cards at that time for possible replacement. If that isn't of any interest maybe could bring wet wipes of some kind to the tournament and at least wipe down the outside of the boxes.

Comments or suggestions?

This could be done by putting a piece of colored tape around a leg of such tables (during set up) and on the side of such bidding boxes (in the course of the tournament). A few extra minutes during a tear down would allow us to take an inventory of how many items had been marked for replacement. We could then order the appropriate quantities of replacements and discard the bad equipment as soon as the new arrives. In the case of bidding boxes, it might be that some of the boxes are OK but the cards therein are shot; perhaps we could explore replacing just the cards in these cases.
