Having sent an email that expressed an opinion, I am surprised that I haven’t received any counter arguments or agreements or anything that might help figure out a solution to the question of what to do about the empty position.

I believe that controversy is not a bad thing, in fact it can be really healthy to question proposals from a board.  That is why diversity is a good thing, not a bad thing and arguing or disagreeing can in the end make decisions clearer and stronger.

So I guess the bottom line is that I think as a board we should continue to talk about solutions to the problem at hand.
