[SBU Board] Need Your Inputs on 2016 Sectional Dates

Folks,

In preparation for our Tournament Sites Committee's upcoming meeting, I have been putting together a listing of dates & events constraints affecting the scheduling of Unit 446 2016 sectionals, see attachment.  It appears we are tardy in acquiring sanctions for our 2016 sectionals; there are few dates available to us throughout 2016.  February is especially problematic -- Bellingham grabbed our usual weekend (2/12-14) as the prior weekend (2/5-7) includes Super Bowl Sunday.  

Please review the highlighted (green font and yellow background) 2016 dates shown on the attachment and provide ASAP your views on preferred dates for each of our sectionals throughout the year.  If you believe we should consider dates in addition to those that are highlighted please also advise -- perhaps Matt might buy into sanctions that coincide with some of the other events in D19, but I think we should commence by trying to avoid conflicts altogether.

Our committee needs this information to initially secure "baseline" sites as well as to consider and pursue alternative/emergent sites.
