[SBU Board] Kent Sectional Venue Payment

Our check in full for Kent Commons rental ($2,965 rent + $125 janitorial = $3,090) is due 60 days prior to the event (March 22).  I will be out of town March 11-23 so I have made out the check and will put it in the mail.

As previously discussed, terms of the rental agreement are that Kent Commons may immediately cash the check upon receipt.  This results in a substantial negative cash flow position for the tournament pending deposit of proceeds after the tournament.  Thus we must take special care with large expenditures until then, avoiding significant spending on equipment, grants, etc.
