[SBU Board] Fwd: Start times in October

One thing not resolved at our last meeting that we need to finalize before
the July tournament so we have flyers is the start times for our fall
tournament. I asked Matt what he thought and forwarded his response below.

Thoughts? I don't have strong feelings about Friday, but I think it's a bad
idea to start at noon on Saturday. It's too hard to get dinner when the
break starts at 3:45, and it's not like you're finishing enough earlier
that night to have an evening activity. I liked the 1 & 6:30 of Kent for
that.

Hard to say. I think the thing which is most unpopular is Friday 7:30.

So how about 1 & 6:45 Friday? Saturday is a two-session event, although
qualification takes a little bit of processing labour. At the same time,
we're getting better at it. Does 12 & 5:30 serve us well?

I think the 10:30 start on Sunday works; I don't hear people clamouring for
10.

I am convinced (on little evidence, I admit) that we gained (lost less)
attendance from that shorter break in Kent.

Any thoughts on start times in October? We will be in Bothell, so not quite
the convenient food Kent had, but there was positive response from pulling
them in a little bit.
