[SBU Board] 2016 Sites Update

Firstly, thank you to the board for its action during last evening's meeting delegating authority to the Tournament Sites Committee to make remaining decisions concerning sites for 2016.  We will keep the board apprised of developments on this front, and if something significant or unexpected comes up we will alert the board.

Today, Kim reported that she has booked the Forest Ridge Gym for the July 15-17, 2016 dates.  Also today, Kim and I measured the gym length & width and that of the Commons on the lower level.  There will be plenty of space for tables, figuring the widths & lengths of both areas and accounting for 8ft table centers, as well as entry & partnership tables, directors table and hospitality set up.  We also verified parking capacity by doing a physical count of spaces, reviewed driving routes into the campus, and identified a location for designated smoking area.

Standing by for (a) dimensional and pricing data from NSC, (b) OK from Bothell Union Hall on May 27-30, 2016 dates, and (c) confirmation from Matt on Sept 2016 sectional dates in lieu of October 2016.
