[SBU Board] Meeting with Candidates

I won’t be able to attend.  My conflict involves two other couples.  But I don’t need a Skype arrangement.  Either I could listen in by speaker on phone or just get a report later from one of the attendees.  Life somehow seems to go on whether I’m in the action or not.  Not an ego-building fact, but comforting.

Status update:

I sent an e-mail to the candidates tonight, consistent with our discussions at our meeting last night.

I have already heard back from Barbara Nist and Marv Norden, both of whom say they will attend our meeting in person.
So with Jeff, we will have at least three.
I would not be surprised if Jerry Thorpe make it unanimous.
We have a lot of votes in this election – as I understand it, each of us votes for about 120 ACBL members.

It would be nice if we do not have to deal with Skype arrangements.

I will keep you posted.
